Credentials

Meira Zucker has been a licensed attorney in Ohio since 2007.

Meira Zucker earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her juris doctor at the University of Toledo College of Law, in Toledo, Ohio, where she was on the Dean’s List. Today, she is admitted to the Bar in the State of Ohio and the U.S. Federal District Court of Northern Ohio.

She has held positions with the City of Toledo Municipal Court Public Defender’s Office, the City of Toledo Prosecutor’s Office, the Sixth District Court of Appeals, and several private firms.

Background

Meira Zucker is a native of Philadelphia and has lived in the Toledo area since 1999.

Since moving to the Toledo area, she has been involved in the community through her legal practice and community service. Currently, she is a member of Sisters in Law, which provides legal support to single mothers in the Toledo area. She has served as President of the Board of Trustees of Congregation B’nai Israel in Sylvania, Ohio, and as President of the Board of Trustees at University of Toledo Hillel. She has also served on the board of WGTE Public Broadcasting in Toledo, Ohio and the board of Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo.

She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Toledo Bar Association, the Toledo Women’s Bar Association, and the Wood County Bar Association.

 
 

Courts and Locations

Meira Zucker practices in Northwest and Central Ohio. She works in the county courts of Lucas County, Wood County, Hancock County, Henry County, Fulton County, Sandusky County, Ottawa Count, Seneca County, Erie County, and Putnam County, and the municipal courts of the region, including Toledo, Sylvania, Maumee, Waterville, Oregon, Bowling Green, Napoleon, Bryan, Port Clinton, Findlay, Perrysburg, Ottawa, Sandusky, Vermillion, Huron, and Norwalk. She is admitted to practice in federal court in the US District Court in the Northern District of Ohio.
